Your Next Role: Patient Administrator
We are looking for a new Patient Administrator to join our Bristol sites. This will be 40 hours over 5 days per week, including weekends on a rota basis.
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused
Patient Administrator
to join our busy team at our Bristol clinic.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and will support a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and professional experience from start to finish.
What You'll Do
Booking patient appointments and managing clinic schedules
Answering phone calls and responding to emails with professionalism and empathy
Handling incoming and outgoing post, and preparing patient letters
Managing both face-to-face and telephone enquiries from patients and colleagues
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry
Supporting the wider clinical and administrative team as needed
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is caring, organised, and passionate about people and service. You could have previous experience, or be at the start of your career in healthcare.
We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys helping others. Our clinics can be busy, and patients may feel nervous about their procedures - so it's essential that you're friendly, reassuring, and calm under pressure.
We'll provide training so direct experience isn't always needed, but the following things will be advantageous:
Previous experience in a customer service or patient facing role
Experience in a busy administrative role
An understanding and respect of confidentiality at all times when dealing with calls or with patients directly
Enjoys working with a range of people and is able to tailor their approach to a diversity of patients' needs with a friendly and accessible personal manner
Confident use of Office 365 and tech systems (training provided)
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
A team player mentality with a proactive, solution-focused approach
Ability to manage competing priorities with calm and clarity
An understanding of CQC standards (advantageous)
