Salary:

24,364.08 per annum

Job Type:

Permanent, full-time, 38 hours

Hours:

10-hour shifts across 4 days each week, giving you one weekday off. Weekend and bank holiday cover on a rotational basis


We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in caring for pets and supporting our clinical team.

Role and responsibilities




As a PCA, you'll work across all areas of the practice, supporting Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and our client care team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the hospital and delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Prepare theatre for surgeries and maintain instrument quality Assist with patient care and husbandry Run in-house lab tests and package biological samples Clean, disinfect, and prepare patient accommodation Follow infection control procedures, including sterilising and deep cleaning Support reception duties: answering calls, booking procedures, and taking payments Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, demonstrating reliability, adaptability, and empathy
