Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Patient Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. This role requires strong administrative and office skills, as well as a compassionate approach to patient care. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, and possess excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the clinic's resources. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information systems. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner. Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication. Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries. Ensure that the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Experience



Previous experience in an administrative or office role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems is advantageous. A compassionate attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
