Dental Receptionist

to become the welcoming face of our busy, modern dental practice in

Wakefield

The Role

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience from the moment they walk through the door. You'll manage appointments efficiently, provide treatment information clearly, and support both patients and clinicians to ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

Greeting and assisting patients with professionalism and warmth Managing appointments, recalls, and patient correspondence using dental software systems Coordinating treatment plans, finance discussions, and patient consent processes Supporting clinicians and the practice manager with administrative tasks Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all patient records Contributing to a calm, efficient, and friendly front-of-house environment

What We Offer

13+ per hour

for candidates with GDC registration (qualified Dental Nurses transitioning to reception welcome)

Part-time role: 28 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

What We're Looking For

Minimum

1 year of experience

working in a dental reception area (essential) Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional, organised, and reliable with strong attention to detail Confident using dental or medical software systems A team player who thrives in a busy, patient-focused environment (Optional)GDC registration, desirable but not essential
