We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Experience Assistant to join our Healthcare Team team at HMP Winchester, a category B Prison located in Winchester.
HMP Winchester is a busy male prison with a capacity for 690 inmates. We are recruiting for a Patient Experience Assistant to work 10.5 hours a week with engaging with patients and making sure their patient journey runs smoothly.
Hours Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
09:00-12:30 or 13:30 -17:00
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 27,582 per annum FTE - depending on experience. The salary would be pro rata for the 10.5 hours.

What you'll be doing
As a Patient Experience Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction through effective service user engagement and peer led forums, the planning and delivery of projects/programmes in line with patients' needs and priorities, involving patients (where possible) in project and training delivery.
• You'll act as a point of contact and respond to patient engagement enquires from staff, external partners and patients.
• You'll ensure statutory and organisational requirements are met, that patient engagement activities are conducted frequently across all sites with timely evaluations and feedback/recommendations are communicated with patients, staff and external partners where necessary
