Job Overview:
As Patient Services Administrator, you will be working for SecuriCare (Medical) Limited who a Home Delivery Service for stoma products are. Working as part of a friendly team you will be involved with the administration support for our Patient Services Team. This is a busy and varied role where you will be involved in all aspects of administration. Your duties will include processing prescriptions, matching orders, generating letters, setting up patients on the system, speaking with surgeries, matching invoices to the prescriptions and various month end procedures. You will be keen to progress your career into customer services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Process daily electronic and paper prescriptions.
Create new orders for patients.
Sort incoming post.
Liaise with surgeries via phone and email to address prescription queries.
Communicate with nurses regarding the setup of new patients in the database.
Update patients' supply requirements.
Fill and cleanse prescriptions.
Log email responses and orders to the Patient Support Team.
Match invoices to prescriptions.
Assist with month-end procedures.
Work towards targets set by the Patient Administration Team Leader.
Support all Patient Services teams with routine administrative tasks.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Team Leader.
