Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator



Location: The Village Medical Centre, Middlesbrough (In Person)



Schedule: Monday to Friday



About the Role



We are seeking a professional and motivated individual to provide a high-quality reception and administrative service to patients, clinicians, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, representing the Practice in a friendly and professional manner.

This role is challenging but highly rewarding. You will work as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver excellent customer service to patients and visitors

Manage reception duties including patient check-ins and appointment scheduling

Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients

Prioritize workload and work efficiently under pressure

What We're Looking For



Excellent communication skills

Practical experience working in a team environment

Ability to work well under pressure, with flexibility and motivation

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

Previous experience in a patient-facing or customer service role is essential

Experience in primary care and with SystmOne medical software is desirable but not essential
