Reporting To: Nursing Director



Term: Temporary and contracted - 24 hours a week. Late evening and Saturday shifts

included.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced medical administrator to join our existing team as a Patient Support Administrator.

Weight Medics is a leading CQC (Care Quality Commission) registered, Tier 3 medical fully online weight management service.

Our focus is, and always has been, to help our patients achieve and maintain a healthier weight in a safe, supportive, and caring environment, enabling them to adopt healthier behaviours and improve their overall health and wellbeing. Our methods include clinically approved prescription only weight loss medication, physical activity programmes, mindfulness support, and bespoke nutritional advice, and our treatment plans are unique to each client.

What we are looking for



Previous experience as a receptionist/administrator within a healthcare setting either in the NHS or a private clinic is preferred.

This role is remote-based (working from home), provided the candidate has a suitable and professional working environment.

We welcome applications from UK-based candidates only, with English as a native language, both spoken and written to an excellent professional standard.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:



Outstanding IT skills

- comfortable working across multiple platforms at once, with the ability to troubleshoot issues using provided guides.

Proficiency in communication tools

- confident and efficient on monitored phones, email, Teams, VOIP phone systems, and CRM systems.

Strong communication ability

- able to write and speak clearly, professionally, and to a high standard.

Excellent multitasking skills

- able to manage competing priorities with minimal errors.

Autonomy and accountability

- able to work independently, in line with clearly defined KPIs.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, including the use of supportive monitoring software to track KPIs and ensure success in the role.

Main responsibilities and duties



As a Patient Support Administrator at Weight Medics, you will be responsible for:

Working alongside clinicians to ensure a smooth and efficient patient journey.

Handling inbound and outbound calls using a monitored VOIP-based phone system.

Managing and responding to patient and clinician queries across messaging platforms, What's app, Email, and CRM systems.

Registering and onboarding new patients, introducing them to Weight Medics and our services.

Assisting patients with bookings and providing ongoing support throughout their journey.

Troubleshooting IT or platform-related issues in line with troubleshooting guides.

Multitasking effectively across several technology platforms with accuracy and minimal errors.

Acting as a professional and positive brand ambassador for Weight Medics.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable

Level 2 literacy (English) and level 2 numeracy (Maths)

Excellent IT skills

Excellent interpersonal skills to provide the optimum service to patients - strong, clear communications and examples of using good judgement (necessary for the safety of the patient)

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

References will be obtained from the successful candidate's previous employers.
