We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dishes that delight our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food production activities to ensure timely service. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimise waste through effective food preparation techniques. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques is required. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing food production processes is highly desirable. A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate with practical experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure are crucial for this role.

Pay: 13.84-14.50 per hour
