Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available. Help with the washing up of dishes, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Basic culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques. A strong understanding of hygiene standards and food safety practices. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service to guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
