The Role




The Service Charge Collections & Payments Coordinator is responsible for supervising the day to day credit control and purchase ledger functions at Encore. This important role involves interaction with all departments of the company, including Estate Management, Legal and Facilities, as well as the service charge accounts department. It also requires liaison with external stakeholders including solicitors, contractors, suppliers, utility providers and brokers, and insurance brokers.

Purchase Ledger



Supervising the purchase ledger team ensuring invoices are entered correctly and on time Conducting regular one to ones with all team members Overseeing and reviewing supplier payment runs ensuring a high level of accuracy prior to director sign off Monitoring the purchase ledger mailbox and ensuring prompt responses Reconciliation of the client payments bank account Overseeing the reconciliation of supplier statements Reviewing the ledger on a timely basis ensuring old items and anomalies are investigated and dealt with Helping identify and integrate improvements to the purchase ledger process To assist with general day to day duties of the team during peak times and as holiday cover Ensuring smooth integration when new estates are acquired

Coordinate and redistribute the resources of the whole team in times of peak volume Assisting with the integration of new teams/staff following company acquisitions Nurture inter-departmental relationships especially with the Service Charge Accountants and Estate Management team Report weekly and monthly KPIs to SC Collections & Payments Manager


Skills



Strong credit control and purchase ledger experience (preferred) Supervisory experience Evidence of implementing procedural improvements in previous roles Service charge experience desirable but not essential Knowledge of Qube will be useful but is not essential as full training will be given Experience of using different accounts packages Excellent team working, approachable and helpful attitude Thorough and attention to detail, ability to see improvements Excellent communication, written and verbal Excellent IT skills. Strong Microsoft package knowledge, Excel and Word in particular, and comfortable with learning bespoke accounts packages

Encore operate a hybrid working model, for this role the requirement is 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.



The salary for this role is 32,000 - 35,000 per annum
