As a Payments Administrator, you'll play a key role in the final stage of our customers' car-buying journey, managing the processing of financial transactions between lenders and dealerships. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on diving into spreadsheets, juggling multiple priorities, and ensuring every detail is absolutely spot on.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to guarantee smooth, accurate payment processes. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be resolving any payment discrepancies or issues with confidence and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the accurate transfer of funds from lenders to dealerships, ensuring all transactions are recorded with precision
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable ledgers and vendor files
Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and address discrepancies swiftly
Review dealership invoices, ensuring they align with contractual agreements before processing payments
Act as the primary point of contact for accounts payable inquiries, collaborating with internal teams, lenders, and dealerships to resolve issues efficiently
Ensure strict adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements by implementing robust internal controls and procedures
What we're looking for:
Experience in accounts payable or similar finance / administrative roles, with a strong foundation in financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy, ensuring errors and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering effective collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders
The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organised under pressure to meet deadlines
A proactive mindset, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and improving processes where necessary
A commitment to continuous professional development, with a genuine interest in pursuing qualifications to advance your career in finance
Details:
Salary up to 30,000
Monday - Friday 9.30am - 6pm
20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + 1 additional day off for your birthday
