Payments Administrator - Growing Car Finance Business (Manchester)

We're working with a fast-growing car finance company in the Manchester area that's on a mission to make car finance quick, easy, and hassle-free for customers across the UK -- and they're looking for a Payments Administrator to join their team.

This role plays a key part in the car-buying journey, ensuring smooth, accurate payment processing between lenders and dealerships. It's perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys structure, and takes pride in getting things right first time.

What you'll be doing:

o Managing the transfer of funds between lenders and dealerships

o Keeping accurate, up-to-date financial records and ledgers

o Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure everything balances perfectly

o Reviewing dealership invoices and checking for accuracy before payments go out

o Acting as the go-to person for accounts payable queries

o Working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve any payment issues

o Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

What they're looking for:

o Previous experience in accounts payable, finance administration, or a similar role

o Great with Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems

o An eye for detail -- spotting errors and fixing them fast

o Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

o Able to manage multiple priorities and stay organised under pressure

Salary & Benefits:

o 25,000 per annum

o Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm
