CrossCountry are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator who is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate processing of the company's payroll.
This role is key in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while also assisting in maintaining compliance with payroll-related regulations.
Responsibilities
Assist in processing the end-to-end Lunar and iTrent payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
Enter and verify payroll-related data, including hours worked, deductions, and employee information.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist team members and supervisors with payroll-related issues or questions.
Support the production of payroll reports and documents, such as payslips, payroll journals, and finance reports.
Assist in the production and maintenance of payroll procedures documentation.
Provide support to the payroll team in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform additional payroll-related tasks as required, including assisting with year-end processing, tax document preparation, and liaising with other departments.
Ensures effective iTrent system administration and housekeeping - payroll calendars / calc groups / element configuration / payroll clear-down / open and close pay periods / user profiles / security / system integrations / Pension Schemes
Manages and ensures effective / accurate processing of pay awards and salary increases.
Ensure accurately and timely input of timesheets and expenses in accordance with Payroll Supervisor.
Assist Pension Manager in the accurate representation of pay award uplift to employee pension records.
Assistant with input of weekly timesheets and adhoc tasks.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Training
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with good numerical skills, an understanding of payroll procedures, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
The Payroll Administrator should be proficient in using payroll software, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and employees at all levels.
