The job will involve processing weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual payrolls for various clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Processing payrolls from beginning to end
Pensions processing
Calculating salary adjustments
Producing reports and statements to be issued to our clients
Calculating and processing statutory payments such as SSP & SMP
Submitting RTI compliance and submissions
Completion of year-end procedures
Liaising with HMRC and The Pensions Regulator
The successful candidate should also have the following experience and skills:
Understanding of employee taxes and regulation rules
Confidentiality and data protection practices
Pension rules and regulations
NLW rules and regulations
Payroll-related functions and responsibilities
Attention to detail
Organisation and multi-tasking
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Computerised payroll packages and Microsoft excel
Excellent communication.
