We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll and accounting software systems.
Responsibilities
Liaising with clients and processing payrolls.
Uploading pension contributions to a variety of workplace pension schemes.
Processing starters and new leavers.
Answering questions from clients which require an understanding of tax, NI, pension calculations etc.
Handling statutory calculations such as SMP, SPP, SSP etc.
Setting up new clients within the payroll software.
Career advancement opportunities.
Experience
Proven experience in a payroll administration role or similar position is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Familiarity with payroll software is essential.
Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
