Assisting the Payroll Manager with:
Checking and correcting weekly timesheets
Inputting timesheet information into the payroll system
Processing and filing of weekly/monthly payroll
Ensure the timely and correct payment of wages and salaries
Managing weekly/monthly auto-enrolment and pension schemes effectively
Liaising with HMRC and employees
Updating Excel spreadsheet of labour costs on a weekly basis
Maintaining holiday and personnel records
Work within strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and great attention to detail
Prioritize workflow
Excellent organisational skills
Following Training will be provided to the successful candidate to assist with: (if not already qualified).
Processing payroll and to get training and knowledge for PAYE, NIC, CIS, SSP, SPP
Learning Xero software packages whilst assisting payroll manager.
Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
Assisting in maintaining office files and Company procedures.
Confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Full time position. Hours of work 9am to 5pm. Based at Thurrock Office.
Salary 28,000 to 30,0000 pro rata. Salary depends on full or part time hours.
4 weeks annual leave, increasing by 1 day per full holiday year to a total of 5 weeks, plus bank holidays.
