About the Payroll Administrator role:
The payroll function at Royal Voluntary Service provides an end to end Payroll service to employees. Ensuring that staff are paid correctly is the main priority of this support service.
You will plan, organise, coordinate, monitor and carry out the processing of all payroll activities, ensuring all information is processed accurately in line with requirements including balancing and closing the pay period.
Providing Timely and accurate information to internal stakeholders as well as external organisations such as HMRC, pension providers and other statutory bodies.
Previous Payroll experience is an essential requirement for the role and use of Pento (UK Payroll) and HiBob Payroll and HR suites are especially desirable.
Hours:
16 hours per week with rota to be agreed with successful candidate

Payroll Administrator:
Ability to always demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders including the following:
+ Leadership Team
+ Senir management
+ Payrll Providers
+ HMRC/External gvernment organisations Knowledge and experience of using both payroll and HRIS systems is an essential requirement of the role, in particular use of Pento (UK Payroll), and HiBob payroll/HR suites are desirable.
A detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation / national insurance rules and pension scheme administration.
Can demonstrate ability to plan, organise, coordinate, monitor and carry out the processing of the end to end payroll including balancing and closing the pay period
Attention to detail through ensuring that each stage of the payroll process is actioned properly and in a timely manner; and ensuring staff are paid correctly.
