Sherborne Schools Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Department and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of payroll and pension processes for our staff.

This critical position offers the chance to manage and administer payroll for over 1,000 staff members. As part of the payroll team, you will work directly with the HR Department and have a direct impact on the accuracy and efficiency of payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills. In addition, you will need to have up to date payroll knowledge (including PAYE, NI, SMP, SSP, SPP, SAP and recent legislation) and good knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially excel.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week; actual working hours to be agreed with Assistant Directors of Finance and post holder. Some flexibility in working hours may be required on occasion to meet the demands of the post.

Salary:

Actual salary 23,295.94 per annum for working 30 hours per week. This is an all-year-round role.
