We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll and accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various day to day accounting financial processes including VAT returns, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable . This position requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with Sage 50 payroll and accounts .
Experience
Previous experience in a payroll or accounting role is essential.
Proficiency in using Sage 50 or similar payroll systems is crucial.
Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts is essential.
Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable is essential.
Familiarity with VAT returns and bank reconciliation is preferable.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
Availability on a part-time basis is essential to run payroll for 40+ staff
