As our Payroll and HR Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the weekly payroll for around 300 employees and be the first point of contact for HR queries across the business. You'll work closely with our Payroll Supervisor and the wider Group HR function to ensure smooth operations and employee support. As part of the Ashcourt Group, you'll also benefit from the resources and support of a larger organisation, while still enjoying the close-knit feel of a locally rooted team.

What you'll be doing:
Processing weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees
Administering holidays and maintaining accurate records
Supporting managers with sickness absence and return-to-work processes
Handling HR queries and escalating where appropriate
Assisting with onboarding, contracts, and employee documentation
Collaborating with the Payroll Supervisor and Group HR team to ensure compliance and consistency
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in administration, ideally within HR or payroll
Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A proactive and approachable attitude
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
