Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are recruiting for a Payroll and Pension Clerk to join our Finance team. The Payroll and Pension Clerk will be part of a team which ensures that all our employees are paid on time. The role will include the inputting of allowances, overtime, mileage claims and will involve answering pay queries from staff members.
Previous experience of working in a financial environment would be beneficial but not essential. We're looking for someone who is confident at inputting data into IT systems; able to keep focused whilst doing tasks; and who proactively looks to solve problems.
This role is part time 17.5 a week covering Maternity for up to 12 months based on Grade 5 13,201-14,071
