What we're looking for
We are seeking a UK Payroll Assistant to join our UK-based Global Payroll Team. Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative team of five, responsible for managing the UK payroll process end-to-end for approximately 600 employees. Please note, if you are successful in this role it is likely this role will be converted into a permanent position

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a flexible approach to managing tasks.
What will you be doing
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather and verify monthly payroll data
Input and update payroll changes using Cintra software
Process tax code changes and submit RTI filings to HMRC
Administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, ShPP, SPP, SAP, PAYE, NI)
Review payroll data for accuracy prior to internal review and final approval
Provide first-line support for payroll-related queries (salary, benefits, taxation, social security)
Assist with monthly and annual payroll tax reporting and compliance
Manage year-end reconciliations, RTI submissions, and P60 distribution
Maintain and improve payroll processes and documentation
Monitor and respond to queries in the Payroll inbox
Support the London Payroll Team with day-to-day operations
Skills and Experience
1-2 years of experience in UK payroll operations
Familiarity with payroll software (Cintra and ADP experience is a plus)
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
Payroll reconciliation and manual calculation skills are desirable
