The Role

We're looking for a

Payroll Assistant

with hands-on, recent payroll processing experience. You'll be supporting our Payroll Manager and Payroll team in ensuring accurate, timely payrolls for multiple clients each month.

What You'll Do

Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients Managing starters, leavers, and employee changes Dealing with holiday pay, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), pensions, and PAYE Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries Supporting auto-enrolment pension administration Assisting with year-end submissions and compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Recent experience in payroll processing (qualifications not required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills (client-facing role) Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable working in an office environment as part of a close-knit team
