We are looking for a highly organised, experienced, self-motivated, reliable, efficient and proactive Payroll Assistant to join our team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of group salaries whilst keeping accurate and up-to-date time and attendance data for all Newly Weds Foods sites: Ossett, Corby, Shirebrook and Banbury and supporting European payroll activities for up to 1000 employees.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support the processing of 5 UK payrolls
Be the main point of contact with third party payroll agents for European payrolls
Month-end accruals
Processing P11Ds
Process P46 car submissions
Internal reporting
Ordering of all payroll stationary i.e. payslips, P60's etc.
Raising purchase orders for Childcare Vouchers
Person Specification:
Previous experience of running a UK payroll is essential
Experience of manufacturing/shift patterns is desirable
Experience of working in a confidential environment
Excellent Microsoft skills, but in particular, Excel
Good understanding of pension auto-enrolment rules
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Additional Information:
This is an office based role. Working hours are 09.00-17.00 (Monday - Friday), with 1 hour lunch break, however flexibility is required depending on business need.
