Due to continued increase in business within our busy payroll department we are seeking to appoint an experienced
Part-Time Payroll Administrator
to join our small friendly payroll team, based in the Blackpool area to work part time, 2 days per week.
This role is suitable for an experienced payroll professional with previous expertise in a similar payroll full end to end position, either inhouse or bureau, processing both small and large volume employee payrolls on a weekly/monthly basis.
Role Responsibilities
Process weekly/monthly payrolls via SAGE (training provided), auto enrolment/pensions
Process starters/leavers, process P45/P46 & P60s
Deal with SSP/SMP/SPP, RTI submissions/ HMRC liaison
Deal with maternity/paternity calculations, statutory payments/deductions
Process payments to employees, pension providers
Deal with payroll enquiries in a confident and polite manner
Person Specification
Prior experience within a similar full end to end payroll processing role undertaking weekly/monthly payrolls
Ideally knowledge of SAGE payroll system (training can be provided)
Knowledge of Excel
Good time management, organisation and strong communication skills
Able to work on own initiative and be a friendly team player.
