Job Description
Robert Half Cambridge are delighted to be partnering a business based in Central Cambridge in their search for a Temporary Payroll Assistant to join their finance team as soon as possible on an ongoing temporary basis.
This role is paying a salary of \xc2\xa311-15 an hour. This role is an ongoing temporary role for around 3 months. This role is hybrid with ideally 1 or 2 days required in the Cambridge office. The ideal candidate would be either immediately available or on a one week notice.
The Role:
- Processing monthly payrolls for all employees
- Responsible for accurate processing of all aspects of the payroll process including but not limited to, maintaining and processing time and attendance records; processing all payroll deductions; processing compensation changes, overtime and shift changes and withholding adjustments.
- Pension Scheme Auto Enrolment processing, salary sacrifice communications, pension contribution deductions and processing of payment schedules via pension platforms,
- Responding to payroll inquiries from employees; via various email and service portals
- Experience of Cascade is desirable
- Previous Payroll processing experience
- Firm understanding of payroll end to end processing principles
- Be immediately available or on a one week notice
