Due to continued expansion a new opportunity exists for an experienced
Part-time Payroll Assistant
to work up to 20 hours per week to join an established, friendly firm based in
Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
This role is available either to work over
3 or 5 days !
Working within an small established payroll team you will be responsible for running full end to end payrolls via SAGE (training provided), therefore previous experience of running full multiple payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/four weekly/monthly basis is required.
Role Responsibilities
Working as part of a small payroll team responsible for timely and accurate processing of payrolls via SAGE 50
Calculation/processing of variable overtime hours
Processing maternity/paternity (SSP,SMP etc)
Processing of weekly/monthly auto enrolment pension payments to various pension providers, dealing with HMRC regarding queries
Dealing with payroll queries in a timely manner
Supporting team members as necessary with payroll processing
Process PAYE, NI and RTI submissions
Process starters/leavers, P45/P46
Person Specification
Ideally knowledge of SAGE payroll software (training can be provided)
1-2yrs experience within a full end to end inhouse payroll or payroll bureau role.
Solid organisation skills able to work to deadlines and prioritise
Strong attention to detail and communication skills both written and verbal.
