We are looking to expand the team and bring on a Payroll Assistant who would be responsible for providing administrative support to the Payroll department.

As a Payroll Assistant you would receive:

What are your responsibilities for the role?
Payroll Processing
Process payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Produce accurate payroll reports and payslips.
Process employee salary payments and PAYE payments where necessary.
Data Collection & Exchange
Securely collect and exchange all relevant payroll information from clients to ensure completeness and data protection.
Ensure secure transmission of payroll information to clients within timelines that allow for accurate payment processing.
Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly PAYE liability reports to clients.
Pensions & Compliance
Process and report workplace pension contributions in line with regulatory requirements.
Client Communication & Support
Liaise with clients on all payroll-related matters to ensure accuracy of data.
Respond to client queries in a timely, helpful, and professional manner.
Feel confident requesting necessary information from clients.
Team Collaboration
Support the payroll team as needed in daily operations and projects.
Maintain open communication within the team to ensure consistent workflow and high service levels.
Task Ownership and Accountability
Take full responsibility for completing all assigned tasks to the required standard by agreed deadlines.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll processes.
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
Ensure all processes are followed and contribute to a culture of efficiency and accuracy.
Follow all internal processes including the completion of checklists and the updating of schedules and profiles.
Complete any training provided by the Company to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Adaptability
Open to taking on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.
