We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in payroll to join our

busy, talented, and friendly payroll team!

In this fast-paced role, you will assist with the end-to-end processing of our global

payroll service, consisting of UK, European and Asian payrolls. An elevated level of

diligence is essential to process and input all paperwork accurately and to such

detail that another member of the team can follow it.

Working in a team of five and reporting into the Lead Payroll Advisor, the role of

Payroll Assistant is a busy one and you will be expected to meet the various

deadlines across multiple payrolls to pay our employees across the globe accurately,

on time, every time. You will need to be highly organised and plan your work

efficiently, as you are responsible for the end-to-end service, processing, balancing,

and making payments so you'll be juggling multiple priorities at once.

This role will allow you to develop your knowledge of international payrolls to support

the delivery of payments in different currencies, understanding the different payroll

challenges of each country. You will be adaptable and consistent in responding

positively as you assist with month end reporting to both internal and external

departments.

Our Payroll Assistant will need to be confident and communicative, as the role

requires interaction with employees on a one-to-one basis and assisting with

employee workshops. It is important you have both the desire to listen and

understand the employee to ensure they receive an excellent experience and be

able to deal effectively with third parties.

You will enjoy continuing to learn, keeping up to date with all relevant payroll

legislation, both within the United Kingdom and any other countries within which

Games Workshop operates to ensure Games Workshop is always fully compliant.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience processing UK payrolls and a good

knowledge of payroll legislation. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Any

experience of using the iTrent payroll system and, or experience using reporting

software to create and run reports is an advantage.

If you are an excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude, we would love to hear

from you!

Working at Games Workshop

At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.

In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme.
