Key Responsibilities -
Maintain accurate payroll records and the payroll system by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Effectively address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from various channels, including telephone, in-person interactions, and email.
Identify, investigate, and rectify discrepancies within timesheets and payroll records to ensure accuracy.
Calculate PAYE and National Insurance liabilities accurately for timely payment to HMRC
Perform pension deduction calculations in adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough reviews of payroll and pension data to ensure compliance and accuracy before submitting reports to relevant authorities.
About you -
The successful applicant will :
Have proven experience of working within a payroll department
Proficient in payroll software systems, with a preference for expertise in Brightpay.
Possess a strong command of payroll legislation
Have knowledge and understanding of good payroll practices
Able to demonstrate good attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, with a strong aptitude for seeking innovative solutions
Ability to swiftly adapt to new processes, procedures, and diverse client requirements.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
