We are a well-established accountancy firm with over 75 years of experience providing expert financial services to a wide range of clients. Our dedicated payroll bureau team supports businesses of all sizes with accurate, compliant, and timely payroll solutions. We are now looking for a skilled Payroll Bureau Administrator to join our small and friendly team.

The Role

As a Payroll Bureau Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll for a portfolio of clients across various industries. You'll ensure all payrolls are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with HMRC regulations and delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.

Maintain accurate payroll records including starters, leavers, and pay changes.

Handle statutory payments, deductions, and pension submissions.

Submit RTI returns and liaise with HMRC on client matters.

Setting up new pension schemes, pension assessments, declaration of compliance etc.

Produce payslips, P45s, P60s, and other payroll documentation.

Provide expert support and advice to clients on payroll queries and legislation.

Assist with year-end procedures and reporting.

Stay up to date with payroll legislation and software developments.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice is essential.

Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes.

Proficiency in SAGE payroll software.

Knowledge of NHS and CIS payrolls desirable but not essential.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Salary - negotiable/depending on experience



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-30,000.00 per year
