Are you a seasoned payroll professional ready to lead a dynamic team and drive operational excellence? Lentells Ltd is seeking a proactive and people-focused Payroll Manager to oversee our busy payroll department and ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients. The position is full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What you'll be doing



As Payroll Manager, you will take full ownership of the department's performance, leading a team with clarity, empathy and ambition. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and mentoring payroll staff, conducting regular performance reviews and annual appraisals Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across all client accounts Resolving complex payroll queries and liaising with HMRC and other external stakeholders Overseeing billing, invoicing and client fee management Developing departmental processes, fee structures and compliance reviews Supporting marketing initiatives and promoting payroll services across the business
