Job Description

We are a small but growing local payroll bureau looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to manage the day to day running of the payroll team. This a part time role (15-20hrs pw) with potential to increase hours as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:



The Payroll Manager will support a small team of payroll administrators to ensure compliance with statutory obligations. The role will include (but is not limited to) the following;

Responsible for onboarding of new clients, including AML checks Supporting and training the payroll team Representing the business at local events Processing monthly payrolls in accordance with agreed processing schedules Liaising with HMRC and other third parties on any queries they may have Customer relationship management

Key Requirements:



Experience in Payroll Bureau environment CIPP Qualified Understanding of Anti Money Laundering Rules and Regulations Ability to multitask managing payrolls for multiple clients High level of PC/database skills, including excel English and Maths GCSE grade C/4 or above Experience of BrightPay software desirable but not essential
FTE 40,000, prorated for contracted hours
Hybrid working available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
