The Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Payroll Officer
to manage the end-to-end payroll process for our staff. This is a key role within our organisation, ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for all staff
Maintain accurate payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes
Ensure compliance with all HMRC regulations and statutory obligations
Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate data input
Manage pension contributions and submissions
Respond to payroll-related queries from staff
Produce payroll reports as required for internal use and audits
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar payroll role preferrable
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
Experience using Sage Payroll advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
