is partnering with a successful company based in Cardiff to recruit an experienced
Payroll Assistant
to join their finance team.
The role
This is a stand-alone payroll position, and your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth running of the company wide payroll.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in a similar position, a strong understanding of payroll, and sound knowledge of accounting principles. You will be detail-oriented, organised and have strong communication skills.
As a Payroll Officer, your role will include, but not be limited to:
Monthly & weekly payroll administration support to include new starters, leavers and benefit changes
Update and maintain the benefits portal
Assist with year end transactions, including P60's etc
Monitoring the payroll inbox and acting on queries and escalations
Any other payroll duties as required
What the client has to offer
A salary level of 30,000 to 40,000
