We are seeking a detail-driven, experienced Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various payroll and accounting software. The Payroll Officer will collaborate closely with the Human Resources department to support employee needs and maintain accurate records.
This position is working full time based at Cwmbran.

Responsibilities
Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Maintain employee records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Conduct data entry for payroll adjustments, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
Calculate and process deductions, including deductions such as HMRC & AOE's
Work with managers and employees
Monitor and process pension payments and uploads
Prepare reports and analyses related to payroll metrics for management review.
Manage accounts payable related to payroll expenses.
Assist in the integration of payroll systems.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment on employee benefits and deductions.
Monitor and record all holidays, medical appointments & sick leave
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a professional manner.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
