Duties
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, deductions, and bonuses.
Analyse payroll data for discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
Maintain employee records within the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with the HR team to manage employee benefits and deductions.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to payroll, taxes, and other financial metrics.
Support accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks or PeopleSoft for efficient payroll management.
Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a payroll or accounting role is essential.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in using Workday or similar HRIS systems is preferred.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes is advantageous.
