What Can You Expect?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Payroll Officer,
who will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and wages in line with company policies, employment legislation, and taxation requirements. The successful candidate will take ownership of maintaining payroll records, calculating earnings and deductions, and ensuring all staff are paid accurately and on schedule.
Contracted Hours, Salaries and Flexibility:
This is a permanent, office based role, ideally offered on a Part-Time basis at 32.5 hours per week, 6.5 hours per day (Monday to Friday), with a salary of 23,865 per annum.
However, we are open to offering this as a Full-Time position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of 27,534 per annum, for the right candidate.
A Typical Day Could See You:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll for all employees, including overtime and bonuses.
Maintain and update payroll records, always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to provide reports, insights, and support for compliance reviews.
Resolving payroll discrepancies reported by staff and management and responding promptly to employee inquiries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant payroll legislation and reporting requirements.
Assisting with year-end processes, including P60s and audits.

What We're Looking For:
Previous payroll experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
