The Opportunity

We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team three days a week in Birmingham. In this critical role, you'll ensure our payroll operations run smoothly across our growing portfolio of brands. What You'll Be Doing

Accurately process end-to-end payroll across four weekly and monthly PAYE payrolls. Prepare and submit statutory documentation, including P11Ds, P45s, and P60s. Manage third-party payments (HMRC, pensions, court orders) and reconcile balances. Provide timely and professional responses to payroll queries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency. Support financial reconciliation and payroll audits. Work collaboratively with the wider finance and HR teams.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing. High level of numeracy and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Strong communication skills -- both written and verbal. A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Experience using Fourth Hospitality payroll software. Irish payroll processing experience is a bonus.
