We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to work in the payroll function within our accountancy practice. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring that all client payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in line with compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll for a client portfolio.
Process weekly, fortnightly & monthly payrolls.
Ensure compliance with PAYE, RTI, pensions & HMRC rules.
Handle starters, leavers, statutory pay & pension contributions.
Keep payroll records & submit required filings.
Support clients with payroll & CIS queries.
Stay up to date with payroll legislation.
Skills
Payroll experience in an accountancy practice/bureau.
Strong knowledge of PAYE, RTI, pensions & statutory obligations.
Confident using Moneysoft, Xero & Basic Tools (not essential)
Organised, accurate, and able to take full ownership of payroll.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
