DWF is seeking a detail oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Manchester team on a hybrid basis (2 days per week in the office). Supporting payroll operations for around 4,000 colleagues across multiple global locations, you will handle end-to-end processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery. This is a chance to grow your international payroll expertise within a collaborative and supportive professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls across various jurisdictions. Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Complete data entry, reconciliations, and audit checks. Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and internal teams. Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure alignment on employee data and reporting. Support compliance with UK and international payroll regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement ideas within the payroll function.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

Essential

Previous experience in a payroll specialist role, ideally within a professional services or multi-jurisdictional environment. At least 1 year of experience with

UK payroll legislation

and good understanding of statutory regulations. Considerable numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills.

Desirable

Familiarity with payroll systems and software, preferably ADP (training provided if required).
