We are currently seeking a Payroll Supervisor to manage the full payroll function from start to finish once monthly for permanent and bank staff. Delivering an effective and efficient payroll service to the hospital, ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time and in line with all statutory requirements. This position is stand alone but sits within the wider Finance team, the Payroll runs at approx. 480 employees. You will be the main contact for payroll queries, maintain accurate records and manage the pension scheme joiners contributions as well as ensuring compliance with monthly and annual statutory returns.
Previous experience of the HR and payroll system 'Dayforce' and system implementation experience would be advantageous.
This position is permanent and full time (37.5 hours) with some flexibility around home working.

Skills and experience required
Relevant professional qualification such as CIPP or through experience
Significant experience running payroll for a medium sized organisation.
High degree of computer literacy with practical experience of digital payroll systems and spreadsheets
Experienced dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Personal credibility and authority to ensure information is submitted to payroll
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate payroll information to non-financial managers
