Job Summary



This role is ideal for a proactive Payroll Supervisor who is ready to lead a team of payroll operators while taking ownership of operational delivery and customer service. You will oversee payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and providing hands-on support for tasks such as PAYE registration, auto-enrolment, and more.

Role Responsibilities



Includes, but is not limited to:

Lead the payroll team: Ensure deadlines are met, timesheets are checked, and the
team is supported in achieving high-quality results.

Support team development: Help resolve queries and provide solutions, identifying
areas for process improvements.

Ensure compliance: Oversee payroll accuracy, statutory filing, pension uploads, and auditing processes. External communication: Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, and other external entities as needed. Exceptional client service: Provide timely, professional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met with care.

Key Skills, Competencies, and Knowledge



Essential:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage and prioritise workload Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable:



Experience with iMacs in an office environment Familiarity with BrightPay and Xero payroll software Experience in fast-paced office settings Education, Training, and Development Minimum 5 years of payroll experience within an organisation
