We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting the overall human resources function. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software and HRIS systems.
Duties
Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Perform data entry tasks related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper allocation of funds.
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks or PeopleSoft to manage financial transactions related to payroll.
Analyse payroll data for trends and discrepancies, providing insights to management as needed.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Support human resources initiatives by maintaining accurate employee information and assisting with onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with Workday is advantageous.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with accounting software,
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A background in human resources or accounting is preferred but not essential.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
