Our client, a rapidly expanding and innovative business, is actively searching for a skilled Payroller to join their supportive accounts team. This part-time position allows for complete flexibility, typically requiring 20 to 30 hours per week, tailored to fit your schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing essential components of the monthly payroll process Managing tax codes, and informing employees of changes Processing deductions for NI, student loans, and salary sacrifice Processing statutory payments and additional pay runs Promptly and professionally resolving queries Communicating with HMRC as well as internal and external customers Preparing year-end reports, P60s and P11Ds Supporting system enhancements and conducting process reviews Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

What qualifications are required?

A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience A solid understanding of payroll legislation Strong attention to detail, discretion, and excellent communication skills Proficiency in payroll software and Excel CIPP or AAT qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
