Role Purpose:

You will join the team in the National Underwriting Centre (NUC) in delivering a high-quality service to our underwriters and brokers whilst practicing and developing technical capability and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.


This is a key role created to support the Commercial Master Package team in line with Chubb's ambitious growth plans across the UKI and Mid-Market Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the underwriting of renewal package and monoline business consisting of UKI and Multinational Property, Casualty and Global Terrorism,

Key Responsibilities:

Underwriting and processing of renewable Mono Property and Package business up to premium of $250,000 in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan Liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, face to face and virtually Navigating our Global Network in the placement of Multinational Programmes To meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues. To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company

Ideally 3 years' experience in the insurance market is required together with a desire to develop your Property & Casualty knowledge in a fast-paced environment You will need to demonstrate a practical and common-sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframes Interest in Multinational programs Minimum A level standard. Competent in Microsoft Office. Expected to undertake "on the job" training. This may involve working in other Chubb offices Keen to embark on , or working towards CII qualifications
