We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and disassembling various electronic and mechanical components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Duties
Assemble an repair electronic and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as required during assembly processes.
Work with surface mount technology (SMT) components, including removal and replacement and soldering tasks.
Conduct electrical wiring and connections in accordance with safety standards and specifications.
Perform quality checks on assembled units to identify defects or inconsistencies
Maintain a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve processes and procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in assembly work within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques.
Basic electrical experience, including wiring and circuit testing.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and component handling.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and commitment to quality standards.
Previous experience working with electrical or mechanical systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
