Job Summary



We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced First Contact Practitioner (FCP) to join Warrington Innovation Network (WIN PCN), providing expert musculoskeletal (MSK) care at the first point of contact. This patient-facing role is ideal for a physiotherapist or healthcare professional who has completed the FCP Roadmap to Practice, with advanced MSK training and proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions autonomously.

As an FCP, you will play a key role in improving patient access to timely care, helping to reduce GP workload, supporting right care, first time for our patients, and contributing to the wider primary care team.

Key Responsibilities



Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with musculoskeletal conditions at first contact. Providing expert advice, treatment plans, and self-management strategies to support patient independence. Requesting and interpreting investigations within your scope of practice. Working closely with GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and other members of our multidisciplinary team. Ensuring continuity of care and timely access to appropriate pathways.

Essential Requirements



HCPC Registered Relevant postgraduate training in MSK practice FCP Roadmap to practice Minimum 3 years' experience in a general practice or primary care setting Experience in managing minor ailments independently Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Job Type



Part-Time (20-30hours per week) - flexible for the right candidate Days/hours - flexible for the right candidate Salary - dependant on experience
