About The Role We are excited about the opportunity to recruit 2 Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians to work in the Cambridge City 4 Primary Care Network to help to deliver Primary Care Clinical Pharmacy services to our practices. You would join a team of Clinical Pharmacists based around our network. The Technician will support clinical medication reviews, high risk drug monitoring, processing discharge medication and medication management. They will be working in partnership with the patient’s GP practice, pharmacists, nurses, care homes, community pharmacies and secondary care.
About The Candidate Candidates must be a qualified and registered pharmacy technician with GPhC and hold a Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services. The successful applicants will be self-motivating, whilst also integrating into teams. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of Primary Care. You will have a sound knowledge of pharmacy and computer literacy. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, forward thinking experienced and personable who are interested in developing their careers and supporting Primary Care. You will have strong experience in either a community pharmacy or primary care setting and be confident in analysing and presenting information to health professionals. You will also have experience of implementing and promoting cost effective strategies. You will have the ability to interpret complex clinical information and present in suitable formats to a variety of people from professional and non-professional backgrounds.
